Egg Hunt

Children and grandchildren (up to age 12) of neighborhood residents are invited to participate in our annual Easter Egg Hunt at 1:30 sharp!
Every child will receive prizes and treats as part of the fun.We provide all of the treats for the event, but we do rely on volunteers to help donate items and make it a success.
If you’re able to contribute, we would greatly appreciate your support in helping us create a fun and festive experience for our neighborhood kids.

Garage Sale and Gathering

Heathwood Old Towne Neighborhood
One person’s trash is another person’s treasure! Host a garage sale at your home from 8:00 AM–12:00 PM.
We’ll create and share a neighborhood map highlighting all participating homes to help shoppers plan their route.
Unsold items? No problem! The Kidney Foundation will pick up donations the following Monday, making it easy to declutter and give back.
After the sales wrap up, join us for our Garage Sale Gathering- a fun neighborhood event where we’ll come together to shop, connect, and enjoy the day. We’re also looking for local vendors offering crafts, treats, produce, and more!

Pumpkin Carving

On Thursday, October 15th from 4-6, join us for our Pumpkin Carving Night at the basketball courts in Lenevar Park. We’ll provide the pumpkins and carving tools- just bring your creativity!
These pumpkins will then be used to help light up our annual Pumpkin Walk the following evening.
Pumpkin Walk

On Friday,October 16th, don’t miss the Pumpkin Walk from 5:00–7:00 PM.
Enjoy live music, a bounce house, and a neighborhood bake sale while you stroll the walking trail and admire the carved pumpkins glowing along the path.
We encourage families to take their pumpkins home at the end of the event on Friday and enjoy the creations throughout the season!

Neighbors Helping Neighbors

Heathwood Old Towne Neighborhood
We’re excited to introduce our Neighbor Helping Neighbor service project!
This is an opportunity for our community to come together and lend a helping hand right here in our neighborhood!Once or twice a year, we’ll organize a neighborhood yard clean-up for a resident who could use a little extra support. Whether it’s raking leaves, trimming bushes, or general outdoor tidying, these projects are a great way to make a big difference in just a few hours.
